MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient. What You Can Expect: Conduct and support the interdisciplinary team in comprehensive palliative care assessments and care plan development. Demonstrate exceptional commitment to equality, equanimity, and cultural sensitivity in the provision of palliative care services to a linguistically, ethnically, and racially diverse population. Utilize prescriptive authority responsibly in treating complex symptoms including stewardship of opiates and controlled substances. Delivery palliative care services using diverse methodologies including in-person, video, and telephonic consultation. Demonstrate extra-clinical interest and engagement in initiatives to foster education, clinical ethics, team building, quality improvement, and clinical innovation. Work alongside the Medical Director to establish, root, and grow a nation-leading palliative care service line. Minimum Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Care Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
