As a Winter Lift Operator, you'll play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional experiences and create unforgettable memories for our guests. Reporting to the Lift Operations Supervisor, you'll ensure safe and efficient lift operations, contributing to the smooth transportation of both our team members and guests. Our lift operations team gets to interact with adventure-seekers and engage in exhilarating seasonal activities, making every day on the mountain unforgettable

Responsibilities:
  • Safety First:
    • Operate chairlifts and surface lifts with a focus on safety and efficiency.
    • Be attentive at loading and unloading terminals
    • Maintain a safe work area
  • Guest Experience:
    • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests with loading and unloading lifts and anticipating their needs.
    • Actively and efficiently organize the loading area when guests are approaching the lift.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure a seamless experience.
    • Demonstrate a teamwork ethic
  • Adaptability:
    • To thrive in a dynamic environment and be willing to learn and take on new challenges as they arise.
    • Take the initiative to be self-directed.
  • Maintenance:
    • Execute daily tasks such as snow removal and lift cleaning to maintain a safe and inviting environment.
    • Work with the Lift Maintenance team to ensure you notify and take care of all the lift's components.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 yrs. Old.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to work outside for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and do hard, physical labor.
  • Must be able to communicate well with people.
  • Must enjoy working with people and children.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Skiing or riding ability is preferred.
