Customer Support Representative
Primary/Essential Responsibilities:
- Independently resolve incoming matters (up to and including in-process orders) within region to which assigned and escalating to Project Manager based on escalation criteria or supervisor/ manager approval
- Provides timely and effective communication to G&W Electric representatives, external customers, and internal customers
- Processing change orders
- Complete all departmental filing in appropriate G&W Electric systems (i.e., orders correspondence, contracts)
- Provide a high level of customer service by working closely with internal departments (such as Production, Planning, Order Entry, and Shipping) to ensure our customers' needs are being met
- Utilize G&W CRM and other systems platforms for status updates
- Assist with process mapping and training needed
- Other job duties as assigned
- High School Diploma required
- A minimum of 3 years customer service or related experience
- Basic technical aptitude to understand G&W Electric's products
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Must have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Microsoft Suite knowledge required (Outlook, Word, beginner/intermediate level Excel)
- JDE/ Salesforce experience preferred
