Job Description

An exempt, management position responsible for leading and directing medical practice daily operations and financial success.

Responsibilities

General Summary: An exempt, management position responsible for leading and directing medical practice daily operations and financial success.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  1. Oversees the daily operations of the Provider practice by creating and implementing policies and procedures.
  2. Assesses quality and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff and providers.
  3. Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management
  4. Key contributor to developing the annual budget for the clinics
  5. Responsible for financial management of the practice to meet organizational goals
Qualifications

  • Education: Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Business or related Healthcare field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in practice operations.


Performance Requirements:

Knowledge:
  1. Knowledge of principles and practices for medical practices
  2. Knowledge of billing/revenue cycle principles for medical practice
  3. Knowledge of annual budgeting principles
  4. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines pertinent to practices assigned
Skills:
  1. Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion,and decision- making to achieve organizational objectives.
  2. Skill in analyzing situations accuratelyand taking effective action.
  3. Skill in establishing andmaintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy-making bodies, third-party payers, patients, and thepublic.
  4. Skill in organizing work, making assignments, and achieving goals and objectives.
  5. Skill in project management and Lean Six Sigma principles.
Abilities:
  1. Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority over assigned work functions.
  2. Ability to establish and maintain quality standards.
  3. Ability to organize and integrate organizational priorities and deadlines.
