The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who has excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules and meet changing deadlines in a fast-paced business environment is essential to the position. The Contract Administrator will work daily with the Corporate General Counsel ("GC") in our Shreveport, Louisiana office assisting the GC with the legal department's primary responsibilities of contracting and litigation management. The Administrative Assistant will facilitate communication between the GC's office and the other departments of the company, as well as outside parties. Objectives of this Role: Be the eyes and the ears of the office, providing information, answering questions and responding to requests. Support the GC by optimizing day-to-day operations and communications between the legal department and key company stakeholders. Maintain and track workflow process to ensure all legal deadlines are met. Refine and analyze standard operating procedures periodically to ensure workflow process is efficient. Contribute technical writing skills to assist GC in contracting and negotiation process and achieve company goals. Coordinate with internal and external resources to expedite workflow. Responsibilities: Administrative Support.

Provide administrative support to the GC, including generation and distribution of memos, letters, DocuSign, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Scheduling . Managing calendars, appointments and meetings on Microsoft Teams, Outlook and internal workflow system. Managing workflow and deadlines. Organization . Managing digital files to ensure an organized and efficient office environment. Technical Writing . Assisting the GC with technical writing including initial review of form contracts documents, edits and proofreading. Communication . Answering phones, responding to emails and handling other correspondence. Required Skills & Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills and multitasking ability Aptitude for learning new software and systems Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent organizational skills Preferred Skills & Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s degree in English Previous experience in office management or similar professional role Previous experience with contract administration or technical writing Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
