Job Summary
You will coach and mentor a team of Specialty Pharmacy Disease State Leaders and Specialty Pharmacy Technicians , assuming the overall responsibility for metrics, productivity and HR functions for this group. In addition, this role will lead the business's efforts to attain and maintain accreditation by designated oversight bodies.Job Description
- Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
- Education Desired: Bachelor's degree
Job Responsibilities
- Assist leadership in coordinating department Team Members to oversee the completion of daily production goals.
- Coordinate training of new Team Members, as well as cross-training current Team Members.
- Recognize, address, and escalate system issues to internal stakeholders and vendors when necessary.
- Responsible for the new hire training and ongoing training of all Specialty Pharmacy Disease State Leaders and Specialty Pharmacy Technicians.
- Schedule and facilitate quarterly CQI meetings for Specialty Pharmacy Team Members.
- Assess individual and team performance and provide timely and candid feedback and perform progressive discipline as required.
- Lead and support organizational efforts to maintain ongoing practices in support of re-accreditation efforts and other quality-based projects and initiatives.
- Act as key contact for accreditation agencies
- Maintain all external accounts essential for specialty pharmacy operation including essential pharmacy operating systems (Therigy, etc.).
- Monitor the overall customer service experience provided by the specialty pharmacy and work with team leaders to address performance concerns and enact improvement initiatives. Manage customer and prescriber satisfaction survey.
- Perform all Specialty Pharmacy Disease State Leader duties and other duties as assigned
