Distribution Center Associate - Part-Time

The Opportunity:

Rio Grande is currently looking to fill several positions on a part-time basis in our Distribution Center. We're looking for hardworking associates with flexible schedules to be resources to teams and areas throughout the company that are in need of help. If you enjoy fast-paced work, new experiences, and having a voice in how things get done, you'll enjoy working at Rio on our Distribution Resource Team

Students and individuals with alternative schedules are encouraged to apply

What You'll Do:
  • Stock, pick, pack, or ship merchandise to meet our service-level agreement of same day shipping for our customers
  • Work in a dynamic team environment and make decisions as a group
  • Communicate effectively, clearly, and consistently with your team
  • Meet accuracy and productivity standards
  • Work a shift that begins between 10 AM and 1 PM and ends between 6 PM - 7 PM Monday - Friday; it's a 20 - 28-hour work week schedule. (Please list your work availability on the application, Monday and Fridays taking priority)
  • Lift 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. Occasionally
  • Stand, bend, stoop, lift, reach, twist, and walk regularly throughout your shift
What You'll Need:
  • Consistent work or school history that highlights your work ethic and commitment
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and self-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, research, and problem-solving skills for continuous improvement
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email
  • Ability to maintain or exceed productivity standards
  • Ability to meet required attendance standards
  • Ability to work successfully within a team
  • See mistakes as learning opportunities
  • Be open to constructive feedback and discussion aimed at learning and improving
