Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Care to lead our postnatal care team and ensure the highest standards of care for our guests. The Director of Care will oversee all operations, develop and implement care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a seasoned healthcare professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of postnatal care, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team, including nurses, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop individualized care plans for postnatal guests, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive care that addresses physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in postnatal care.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between guests, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and facilitate communication.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing; Antepartum/Postpartum, Delivery, and/or NICU experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of postnatal and infant care .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective care programs.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
