The HR Business Partner role contributes to the company's performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. They will analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies. The role is critical in executing our HR & Employee Experience initiatives, providing great internal customer support, inclusion efforts and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The HR Business Partner will engage with functional area managers to resolve employee relation issues, escalating when needed.

Description:

  • Implements Human Resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and lab or relations
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization value.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management
    of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
    Establish and lead the full cycle recruiting and hiring process.
  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in business satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management, or other related (field required)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP (Preferred)
Professional Experience (Required)
  • 4+ years experience in Human Resources field
  • Experience with managing employee relations
  • Experience in Learning and Development
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Experience in a fast pace growing business
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws including but not limited to ADA, EEO, FMLA, and Title VII
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and execute with little supervision
  • Ability to navigate through difficult human resource situations
  • Excellent presentation skills
