FPO Marketing & Advertising is a dynamic advertising agency known for its creative approach and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a multifaceted accounting professional with human resources experience to supports our agency’s growth and operational efficiency.
We are looking for a professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant & Human Resources Manager. This role requires 75% managing our agency’s financial operations and 25% overseeing human resources activities. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking with a strong background in accounting and general knowledge of Human Resources to collaborate with our PEO partner, SWBC, to complement our HR needs.
Functions:
Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client billing.
Maintain accurate financial records and produce monthly financial statements including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Manage agency cash flow, investments, and line of credit as needed.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with our PEO partner on HR-related activities including compensation, benefits, staffing, and employee relations.
Maintain records, manage benefits programs, and update policies and procedures manual as required.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Proven experience in financial management with a strong understanding of accounting principles and general knowledge of human resources practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience working with Advantage and Aqua advertising software is a plus.
This position reports directly to the president and may supervise junior accounting and HR staff. Our agency partners with SWBC PEO for HR needs, which greatly simplifies management of HR functions.
