CX/UX Digital Marketing Strategist

Principal Global Investors Digital Marketing team is looking for a CX / UX digital strategist. This individual will investigate client needs, competitive analysis, lead the discovery process, conduct user research, and create the foundation for a meaningful digital user experience. This is a highly collaborative team responsible for setting digital standards and in this position, you'll focus on enhancing our digital experiences, including website enhancements and digital marketing journeys and visual design. Here are few additional examples (as well as those listed above) of things you’ll do when you join our team: + Responsible for capturing the voice of the customer and working cross-functionally to deliver meaningful and diverse experiences. + Designing information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs with software tools like Adobe XD or Figma + Established best practices, create strategic user journeys, as well design system requirements and functionality requirements dependent upon project scope + Provide recommendations based on data from Google Analytics, heat mapping tools, session recording, secondary research reports (Forrester, Nielson Norman), and internal team-generated data + Present UX and Strategic deliverables demonstrating strong rationale for proposed direction, strategy, and recommendations + Perform usability testing and quality assurance on properties (i.e. site features) to ensure they are functioning properly while executing initiatives that align with the overall marketing strategy. + Develop and administer new digital assets in support of sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns + Ensure digital content supports goals and aligns with the overall digital strategy. + Design and develop digital templates and forms. As a growing company with over 16,000 employees around the world, Principal offers a lot of ways for you to learn more, earn more and achieve more + Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in UX design, marketing, or business-related field + 3+ years of experience in research, user experience, and/or design-related roles, conducting research, testing, and creating user personas, journeys, sitemaps, and website feature requirements + Experience with design and identity systems with extensive understanding of website design and user experience best practices + Solid analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, time management, decision making and verbal and written communication skills + Knowledge of (or ability to obtain) the asset management market and products + Experience and/or knowledge with the following tools: + Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD) + Web and mobile prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma, etc.) + User research tools (Validately, UserZoom, UserTesting.com, etc.) + Web analytics (Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, etc.) + Behavioral analytics (HotJar, SessionCam, MouseFlow, etc.) + A/B and multivariate testing tools (Google Optimize) + Familiarity with content management systems, (ie JavaScript, CSS, Drupal and HTML) preferred Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
