Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

This position serves as a liaison between Lantech, its distributors, and its customers regarding the development and recommendation of technical solutions to solve customer application issues. Responsibilities include: collecting application information; reviewing customer specifications; facilitating meetings with customers and key Lantech individuals to propose and discuss recommended solutions; preparing project quotations; converting and maintaining machine orders; facilitating customer machine reviews. Apply electrical knowledge, including development of schematic and panel drawings, BOM's and machine logic, as well as product changes and enhancements, to the design and development of standard Lantech products. Solve electrical problems from component through system level. Provide design and technical support for the sales, procurement, manufacturing, and field service teams.

Some travel to EU will be required. This position will be required to be primarily in office.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Able to effectively manage a multiple project workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Results driven and possess proven ability to initiate action in response to problems
  • Possess the ability to facilitate effective meetings
  • Flexibility/willingness to do what needs to be done to move the organization forward
  • 3-5 years of experience designing and/or troubleshooting electrical controls for industrial equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis of electro/mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter and able to make independent decisions.
  • Create schematics and panel plate drawings
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory and industry practice.
  • Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC's and HMI's.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering Technology
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with packaging equipment preferred, case product experience a plus.
  • Autocad experience preferred
  • Siemens PLC and HMI experience a plus
  • NEC/NFPA experience a plus
  • Prefer an individual with a minimum of three years' experience with direct customer interface
