Vaco is seeking an HR Coordinator for a client located near Bethel Road in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong recruitment and onboarding skills, experience with HR compliance, and proficiency in systems such as Paycor and MS Office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the organization. This is a fully on-site position, offering the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing Paycor to review candidates and manage job postings for hourly entry-level positions.
  • Conducting interviews, vetting candidates, and making hiring decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with employee file requirements, including I9 maintenance and storage.
  • Assisting with employee benefits, ensuring proper sign-up or waiver.
  • Facilitating onboarding and conducting new hire orientations.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Recruiting and Interviewing: Experience with posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • HR Compliance: Knowledge of labor laws, employee file management, including I9 maintenance and storage.
  • Benefits Administration: Assisting with employee benefits enrollment and ensuring compliance.
  • Onboarding: Experience with onboarding new hires and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software (e.g., Paycor, ATS systems) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact with employees at all levels and work as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing HR processes.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
