As needed, partner with corporate development on pre- and post-M&A executions, including functional due diligence, cultural fit, integration readiness, valuation, financial impact, and long-term integration. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A seasoned leader with subject matter expertise of the cheerleading and dance ecosystem and the ability to build and navigate a network of influencers and decision-makers. 7+ years of experience in (or combination of) strategy, consulting, sport management, business development, rights acquisition, sales management/leadership, general manager type role, or other related experience that proves strong business acumen and cross-functional execution. Strong presentation skills in communicating both qualitative and quantitative analyses. Proven record of creating value, improving profitability, and determining competitive advantage for other organizations. Excellent communication skills – public, written and verbal – successfully articulating everything from high-level strategy to tactical execution plans. Ability to lead through decisive leadership, prioritization and strategic decision making. Possess a strong understanding of audience needs and behaviors, ensuring the content, programming and experiences provided meet customer and partner expectations. Experience in public forums, including on-camera and on social media, is a plus. BONUS POINTS: Familiarity with financial analyses and business valuation. Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to build customer-centric experiences. Experience in sports media, especially video streaming and OTT. Experience with B2B sport management software (e.g. registration, event management, club/team management, statistics, or similar).
