Job Description: The Staff Accountant will provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. This position will assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Billing, and Month-End Close.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices

Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable/accounts receivable data.

Perform data entry associated with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and contract billing

Perform monthly reconciliations

Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies

Audit and process credit card bills

Assist in Month-End Close

Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports

Maintain Vendor files, including receiving W-9

Maintain Customer Contract files

Ad hoc Projects

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

1 – 3 years of previous accounts payable/accounts receivable experience

Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized account and spreadsheet program.
