HOURS: Full-time (38 hours per week), non-exempt. Schedule is as follows: Monday: 11 am - 8 pm Tuesday: 11:30 am - 8 pm Wednesday: 11:30 am - 8 pm Thursday: 9:30 am - 6 pm Friday: 9:30 am - 6 pm Saturday: Rotation every third Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm (off the Friday before working Saturday) DESCRIPTION: The Douglass Branch Library is looking for a friendly and welcoming Library Assistant to join our team Youll help create a warm atmosphere by assisting customers with borrowing materials, registering for library cards, answering questions, and using our technology and new makerspace equipment. Youll also assist with and help present engaging programs for adults and children. As a Library Assistant, youll provide excellent customer service and help create a positive work environment.
