Function(s):

This internship will provide experience in: Information Technology (IT) help desk and technical support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help Desk and Technical Support
  1. Exemplify the Agency 3C's corporate culture in all activities and interactions with staff, members, consumers, stakeholders as well as the community at large. Customer Service is the top priority for this position.
  2. Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications. Assist with installing new software, updates and migrating user data from old PC to new PC.
  4. Assist in setting up and maintaining IT equipment, such as laptops, printers, mobile devices.
  5. Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely technical assistance to users.
Other Duties
  1. Provide on-site technical support for service providers that utilize Agency-required software (as deemed appropriate by IT Director).
  2. Assist in the inventory of computers, related hardware, and software. Coordinate inventory tagging with accounting.
  3. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Preferred:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with troubleshooting common IT issues is a plus.
