Drive Innovation in High Voltage Transmission

Aurora Ventures is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of protection and control systems for high voltage transmission projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for reactive power compensation, including FACTS and Synchronous Condenser systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual solutions and implement technical designs for protection and control systems
  • Design hardware and software for station control systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Conduct functional, performance, and customer acceptance tests at our test center
  • Collaborate with international teams of experts to drive innovation and excellence in high voltage transmission

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Automation Engineering
  • Proven knowledge of Phasor Shifters (Synchronous Condensers) or FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Solutions)
  • Strong understanding of electrical power supply (medium and high voltage) and secondary technology
  • Experience with control, HMI, and protection systems is highly desirable
