Job Summary:

Goal oriented individual adept at assisting in designing social media strategies to achieve marketing goals, who can use collaboration and creativity to help assist in boosting the Casino's social media presence.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of all social media campaigns.
  • Capture photos and video of special events and create posts based on that content.
  • Responds to comments and messages, answering users questions and engaging with followers.
  • Monitor the latest trends, sounds, and viral concepts by searching hashtags, brands, and other influencers through TikTok and other social platforms to improve social media presence.
  • Develops videos, snippets, images, gifs, and other visual content that will be distributed across relevant social media platforms.
  • Serves as a resource in writing content that encourage engagement and help increase loyalty from followers.
  • Communicate cross-departmentally to gather information in order to promote and ensure up-to-date information is being highlighted on social platforms that will help each department reach its goals.
  • Helps with the organization and planning of filming and photography shoots on property for social media content.
  • Attends Morongo events, promotions, and other important events to capture content for social media.
  • Reach out to contest winners to coordinate pick up of prizes on property.
  • Schedule content through Sprout Social.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok with strong communication and guest service skills. Uses creativity to develop and post likable content. Ability to create and plan out relevant social media content, and collaborate to strengthen our social media following. Experience with common design programs used to design social content as well as social media marketing tools. Understand what followers want and find ways to satisfy those needs through social media content. Flexibility in scheduling, willing to work nights and weekends as needed. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically interact with team members and guests. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics with a high regard for guest service and team member relations.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced social media environment with social media content creation responsibilities.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Tact and diplomacy are essential. Exceptional reading, writing, interpersonal and public speaking skills are important to the success of this position. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports, general business periodicals, professional journals or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, rates, ratio, proportions and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to apply legal, regulatory and procedure doctrine, concepts and policy to practical situations. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit or stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The team member may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The casino environment has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment.

WORKING HOURS:

Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
