TITLE:
Senior Commercial Loan Analyst
REPORTS TO:
SVP, Commercial Credit Underwriting Director
LOCATION:
Albuquerque, New Mexico
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop credit information for lending decisions on new, renewal, and extension of loans.
Review credit and financial information, prepare financial spreads, analyze financial statements, and present opinions to loan officers.
Assist in underwriting, preparing credit memos, and conducting borrower meetings.
Interact with Loan Officers and Senior Credit Officer on analytical requirements.
Supervise training of Credit Analysts and monitor loan agreements for compliance.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Support lending staff in providing high-quality services to customers.
Assist with property collateral inspections and prepare monitoring reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High analytical ability and writing skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 15 – 18 credit hours in accounting.
5+ years as a Credit Analyst for commercial lending.
COMPENSATION:
Salary range: $85K - $105K depending on experience.
