The Role:

As the VP and Corporate Treasurer, reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible to lead an internationally disbursed treasury team and occasionally cross-functional teams for corporate liquidity, bank relationships, and bank transactional treasury management and risk management related to our financial activities. You will also be responsible to define coverage (risk management policies) and negotiate along with the CFO the insurance policies.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide global consolidated cash flow and liquidity forecast, related borrowing needs, and place excess available funds for investment
  • Ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing operational and capital investment requirements and invest short-term excess cash
  • Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its strategic initiatives and long-range planning
  • Report on global daily cash position and supervise daily borrowing in the Americas, Europe and Asia
  • Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, account funding
  • Manage intercompany cash flow, incl. intercompany lending, dividends, and capital injections (aligned with global tax planning)
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all covenant calculations in compliance with credit agreement(s), including 5Q covenant forecasting
  • Maintain excellent relationships with cash management, banking, credit rating agency and other financial institution relationships
  • Work with lender operating and executive personnel on tactical and strategic topics
  • Forecast worldwide interest expense and income and negotiate bank and service fees
  • Implement new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations.
  • Guide and educate the business and functional leaders on "smart cash flow management"
  • Manage the activities of 3rd parties handling outsourced treasury functions (e.g. credit and collections)
  • Oversee the extension of credit to customers following our credit management policies
  • Support CFO in oversight of corporate risk management and insurance portfolio globally
  • Develop hedging and foreign currency risk management policies to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on our borrowings, and on its foreign exchange positions
  • Develop and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and ensure compliance through internal audits
  • Be a member of our pension committee and pension liability management team
  • Recruit, develop and inspire a small international treasury and cash management team
Creating Extraordinary Starts With:
  • MBA degree
  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible treasury experience for a major company.
  • Experience with cash flow management, liquidity forecasting and borrowing facilities, hedging, risk management and international funds flows.
  • Experience working in a global business environment with multiple currency management is required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation and familiarity with SAP is preferred
  • Experience with pension liability and asset investment management is preferred
  • Experience with capital markets and experience in a private equity environment is preferred
