Our team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions.Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent Junior DevOps Analyst to assist in the creation and integration of new user interface AWS infrastructure components into various development environments. The successful candidate will work closely with both the development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes that ensure the optimal functioning of new employee facing web applications.Assist in the development and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Collaborate with UI/UX designers and software developers to ensure smooth integration of front-end components with server-side logic.Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to reduce errors and improve efficiency in the deployment processes.Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration process of UI components.Contribute to the development of scripts and tools to automate build, deployment, and testing of UI AWS infrastructure components.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in DevOps and UI/UX technologies.Implement and maintain security practices throughout the CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure code deployment.Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges, updates, and improvements regarding project integration workflows.Support the creation of documentation for deployment processes and integrated solutions.United values diverse experiences, perspectives, and we encourage everyone who meets the minimum qualifications to apply. While having the desired qualifications make for a stronger candidate, we encourage applicants who may not feel they check ALL of those boxes We are always looking for individuals who will bring something new to the tableQualifications: Whats needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelors degreeFamiliarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to focus and deliver results with many distractions.Strong communication and teamwork skills.2+ years of experience in a DevOps, software development, or system operations role.Experience working with AWS cloudHave worked on a team that implements agile methodologies.What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Experience with tools like Git, Github Actions, and CDK.Knowledge of UI development tools and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).United Airlines is an equal opportunity employer.
