Overview:

As an Application Developer you will support all phases of the development lifecycle; including but not limited to analyzing user requirements, developing and testing code, responding to outages, and creating application system models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate regularly with business analyst to interpret, clarify, and plan for the implementation of user stories.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain those programs throughout the product life cycle.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems by encoding, testing, debugging, and installing appropriate technology.
  • Integrate programs with other systems in the organization.
Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
  • Able to work in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with:
General tech:
  • Git version control
  • C#
  • .NET Framework
  • Entity Framework (EF6 preferred. Other database ORM experience accepted)
  • Strong experience with T-SQL & Stored Procedure usage
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) or Avalonia
  • DevExpress experience a plus
  • Microsoft Interop experience a plus
Web App tech:
  • ASP.NET backend,
  • JavaScript
  • Strong .NET experience a plus
  • Git concepts like branching, merging, pull requests, etc.
  • General understanding of MVC and/or MVVM architectures, the role of a View/Model/ViewModel
  • Additional exposure and experience in Unit Testing and CI/CD build automation a plus
