SUMMARYAs a Regional Account Manager, SW Minnesota & Eastern North Dakota, your primary responsibility is to develop new accounts and grow existing accounts by creating opportunities and strategies within your assigned region. You will also coordinate client relationship opportunities such as proposals, budgets, customer service, and work orders. You will lead and encourage the workforce in the joint effort to reach sales goals and customer satisfaction and coordinate with H.O. staff and management to resolve any account issues or concerns.

JOB DUTIESManage sales to retailers of value-added seed, soil, and crop plant nutrients in your assigned territoryExecute an annual sales plan to achieve or exceed target sales, and overall company objectivesPresent ideas, train and support growers and retail customers on products and usage to optimize usage through proper positioning in the market and return on investmentDevelop and maintain good relationships with clientsIdentify new customer opportunitiesAttend trade shows, conventions, and conferences as neededPossess excellent negotiation skillsCreate and deliver sales presentations on proposals at meetings, conferences, and tradeshowsWork well in collaboration with the sales team and marketing teamPromote new products and services offeredAssist with training new Regional Account Managers

QUALIFICATIONSA Regional Account Manager of Sales will require several competencies and qualifications, as per the following, but not limited to:A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a sales and/or agronomy sector of agricultureKnowledge and understanding of crop production and agronomy with nutrition experienceAbility to achieve or exceed attainable sales goalsHigh commitment to customer service and satisfactionGreat understanding of the agriculture industry, farming methods, trends in the industry, and the dynamic nature of the marketProven excellence in the method of selling and launching products or servicesAble to work independently, be self-motivated, and results-drivenExcellent negotiation skillsStrong analytical thinking skillsThe ability to reach out to new contacts and maintain positive relationships with themExcellent written, and verbal communication, and presentation skillsSolid organizational skills and detail-orientedAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesA motivated and positive personalityCollaborative team memberExperience with Microsoft OfficeA valid driver’s license and a passport to travel to the United States

COMPENSATION

Salary Range

- ATP offers competitive base pay based on education, training, and work experience, plus an annual bonus
