  • Hiring Pay Range (Includes $1.00 per hour Cost of Living Adjustment):
    • Electronic Banking Specialist I: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
    • Electronic Banking Specialist II: $20.25 - $23.63 per hour
    • Electronic Banking Specialist III: $21.50 - $26.25 per hour
      • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.
      • This position may be eligible to receive an additional $1.00 per hour if approved for the Spanish Communication Assistant Program.

Summary
  • Initiate or verify funds transfers, including domestic and international wires, electronic tax payments, electronic securities and savings bonds. File documents. Process/check new Internet Banking enrollments. Assist wire customers with confidential codes and wiring instructions. Satisfy daily deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Obtain all Wire transfers, either from internet banking product or Wire Transfer System
  • Know and adhere to Wire Transfer deadline
  • Determine if outgoing wire requests have been properly authorized
  • On international wires, check OFAC website before initiating wire
  • Verify incoming wires for appropriate account ownership
  • Electronically process wires from Internet banking product to PaymentXchange system to FRB.
  • Verify that all Wire Transfers from Bank branches and Internet Banking Product have been received and sent to FRB balancing at end of day
  • Process all incoming wires from FRB to accounts
  • Open and Close PaymentXchange System
  • Reconcile and initiate Monthly Service Charges
  • Assist internal customers with research pertaining to wire transfers.
  • Answer wire transfer line and take wire info from wire agreement customers that have wire code authorizations to send wires through wire department.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards.
  • Maintains confidentiality as defined by department standards.
  • Supports the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience

Electronic Banking Specialist I:
  • 0 - 1 year of banking or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous demonstration to maintaining high attention to detail and time management skills.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Electronic Banking Specialist II:
  • 1 - 2 years of banking or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous demonstration to maintaining high attention to detail and time management skills.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Electronic Banking Specialist III:
  • 3+ years of banking or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous demonstration to maintaining high attention to detail and time management skills.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
