Location: REMOTE (Our client is located in Kensington, CT)
Compensation: Heavily dependent on experience 28-40/hour
About this Opportunity:
- This is a part time consulting opportunity that can be done from the comfort of your own home
- The hours will depend on the needs of the client, and span from 1-2 months
- All equipment will be shipped to you
- The Certified Payroll Analyst will report to the CFO
- Prepare and manage detailed payroll reports that comply with certified payroll requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and accuracy in payroll documentation is critical, particularly for projects involving government contracts or specific labor laws.
- Oversee the payment processes for subcontractors, ensuring their contracts are paid correctly and on time, particularly handling multiple payments at once (in mass).
- Obtain and verify the correct rates to be used for various projects. This includes working on and adjusting rates as needed to ensure they are accurate.
- The Certified Payroll Analyst should have previous certified payroll experience
- Strong technical skills
- The Certified Payroll Analyst must have the capability to work remotely
- Basic excel skills and the knowledge of formulas
