Education / Training

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred;
•CPA or CMA certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within one year in the role.

Key Job Elements

•Perform month end accounting closing tasks and reconciliation;
•Budget and forecasting duties for assigned area;
•Prepare, present and analyze financials;
•Produce timely and accurate financial statements;
•Review and analyze open receivables for assigned area;
•Accounts payable and receivable processing;
•Assist operations in preparation of financials as needed;
•Monthly, quarterly and annual duties such as backlog, revenue reporting, etc.;
•Process and manage customer invoicing for assigned area.

Advanced duties and responsibilities:
•May be responsible for capital expenditures, inventory control and product costing;
•Ensure compliance with SOX;
•Supervise staff members.

Qualifications and Experience

•5+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role;
•Cost accounting knowledge and experience;
•Ability to work with internal and external customers at all levels;
•Experience presenting accounting and financial information;
•Expert knowledge and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems;
•Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
•Experience and ability to lead and direct the work of others;
•Experience working in a manufacturing, accounting environment;
•Strong analytical, problem-solving.
