We’re seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Global Compensation team. In this role, you will function as the compensation team’s internal data consultant, building scalable and automated solutions in compensation work, as well as lead all data elements of our semi annual Compensation Cycles, including data processing, management, and project management on the compensation module of our HRIS system (Workday). This role will be central to delivering compensation data integrity and building the Wayfair compensation program to scale. The ideal candidate has a strong data management and analytics skillset, is a collaborative team player with a strong attention for detail, has a strong desire to learn new skills and enjoys working with systems, tools and processes, and is passionate about continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data lead for processing our semi-annual Compensation Cycles.
  • Function as the internal compensation team consultant to scope and build scalable data solutions to compensation.
  • Lead HRIS compensation projects (in Workday) through solution design, testing, and implementation, serving as the project manager, and occasional configurer. 
  • Lead infrastructure and reporting for all things related to compensation data, including 3rd party data processing/reporting, compensation band management, Hiring data management/reporting, Workday data reporting/processing, etc.
  • Perform audits on data and reports, and partner with external teams in Finance, Technology, People Analytics, and Recruiting to ensure compensation data is represented accurately and efficiently across the business.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • 2+ years of work experience in Compensation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
  • The maturity, integrity, and respect to handle extremely confidential and sensitive employee data

Preferred

  • 1+ years of Workday experience in Compensation
  • Compensation subject matter expertise from a policy and process standpoint, unrelated to Workday
  • Experience maintaining systems that support complex organizations covering multiple geographies
  • Proficiency in SQL/Python
