Job Summary: Facilities the delivery of high quality and cost-effective advanced assessment and treatment services. Functions as member of multidisciplinary team and provides consultation to case managers, care coordinators, skills trainers and peers. Assists with program development and maintenance of a therapeutic environment. Mentors and provides training to new team members. Engages in outreach activities.

Minimum Education: Master's degree in a behavioral health field.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Behavioral Practitioner (LBP). Has obtained or is making satisfactory progress toward obtaining the Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) credential with the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP).

Work Experience: Minimum three years of experience, post licensure.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access as might be used in the preparation of reports and correspondence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of principles and techniques of counseling. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to demonstrate efficiency, creativity, accuracy, diplomacy and attention to detail.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Performs advanced eating disorders-focused individual and family psychotherapy according to clinical need with Eating Disorders Program inpatients or outpatients. Leads small process psychotherapy groups for Eating Disorders Program inpatients. Leads psychoeducational groups for Eating Disorders Program inpatients and Magnolia House residents. Participates in therapeutic meal supervision for Eating Disorders Program inpatients and Magnolia House residents. Identifies, coordinates, and completes appropriate patient assessments, treatment and discharge plans within established time frames according to established practices and regulatory standards. Completes all required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards for purposes of patient information exchange and reimbursement within established time frames. Provides effective Interdisciplinary team participation and support through collaboration with healthcare providers and referral sources; communicates with patients and appropriate family members. Works with departmental and hospital leadership to develop and improve programming by participating in performance improvement and quality activities. Develops, implements and evaluates programs and activities assigned. Trains or assists in the training of employees. Provides indirect guidance to staff regarding clinical programming and treatment expectations. Demonstrates expertise in area relevant to eating-disordered patients. Participates in community outreach initiatives.

Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.

Working Relationships: Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). Leads others in same work performed (does not supervise). Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal / external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
