We are looking for a strategic and product-driven Vice President of Product Marketing to lead our Product Marketing function and team. Reporting to the CMO, the ideal candidate has a passion & eye for prestige product as well as a commitment to developing the overall strategy for the area to bring our mission, point of difference and incredible product to our consultants and end consumers. This leader must be a skilled team player, who is self-driven, organized, and able to communicate and partner effectively across all levels of the organization while building and developing the team. This role will oversee the strategic product vision across Skincare and Nutrition, developing and driving a 3-4 years product road map, including product expansion, portfolio optimization and product innovation. They will own and drive a proactive analytical product strategy as we grow our current business and look to expand into new markets.

What You'll Be Doing

Product Strategy & Vision: Set the strategy, roadmap, and vision for products across all categories and all sales channels. Set vision and define success for product innovation pipeline. Develop and execute go-to-market product and pricing strategies by studying data, market, competitive landscape, and category trends. Work with product marketing and R&D partners to design the product innovation calendar, identifying disruptive product concepts that generate new opportunities for brand growth. Manage package development strategy with focus on innovation, sustainability, and quality of product packaging. Work with operations team to source, vet and manage manufacturing partners to ensure the highest quality product launches. Partner with website marketing and UC to ensure product stories and customer experience align with vision and go-to-market strategies for the categories. Product Lifecycle Management: Responsible for developing, defining, and overseeing the product’s roadmap Set priorities of innovation as determined by the business, consumer, and market needs. Manage the product lifecycle and end-of-life process from start to finish with support from cross-functional partners Monitor sales movement and recommend retirement, innovation, repositioning, or improvement. Optimize sales with price positioning and necessary promotion while meeting margin targets and brand goals. Collaboration & Execution: Ensure all product activations are executed to meet the needs of the business. Work closely with the team to identify opportunities for the category, balance the line by aesthetic, and develop a strong vision for product that fills gaps and opportunities and gains market share at each retail account. Establishes pricing strategies by category. Partner with Finance team to perform gross margin analysis to ensure regular product and price improvements are implemented and tracked. Develop processes and practices around pricing promotions and markdowns to meet sales and margin targets. Create a feedback loop to integrate consultant and customer feedback and insights into recommendations to grow/maintain/ decline, as well as future product iterations & launches. Attend company field events to launch and train on new product introductions Leadership and Team Development: Hold self and others accountable for work commitments and outcomes. Manage team priorities. Mentor, coach, and counsel direct reports to be accountable to high-level performance expectations while focusing on priorities, and business objectives. Apply sound professional and fiscal management in the oversight of the department, including process improvements. What You Need

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 15+ years of product marketing, merchandising or development experience required At least a combined 8 years in the skincare and nutrition categories 6+ years as a Product Marketing leader hiring, growing, and managing a product marketing team Strong background in skincare and nutrition product development, with direct experience bringing bespoke projects to market Experience in consumable package sourcing and development Experience in safety testing and claims substantiation (clinical, sensory perception, and/or consumer panels) Passion for the skincare and nutrition market and industry trends Dedication to Arbonne’s mission to empower people to flourish with sustainable healthy living. Expertise in developing an array of high-quality, product-centric, marketing content from conception to realization, working in collaboration with product, ales, and other marketing professionals. Proven ability to build long-lasting relationships internally and externally.
