San Francisco, United States Groombuggy Full time

Job Description

Job Description

Groombuggy is the premier mobile dog grooming company in the San Francisco Bay Area and Denver. We are growing rapidly. We are taking a Silicon Valley tech startup approach to the mobile dog grooming industry. We are proud of the work we do to create great jobs for dog groomers and help pet owners care for their loved ones. We're excited to become the next modern national pet brand.

We are looking for an ambitious, strategic and energizing Recruiter to support the growth of our team of groomers and remote operations team.

You will be responsible for expeditiously growing our team of dog groomers in the San Francisco Bay Area and Denver, but also in new cities across the country. You will also be a key partner to the leadership team in proactively maintaining a talent pipeline, optimizing end-to-end recruitment processes, and building a robust network within the grooming and pet world while curating an exciting, thoughtful, industry leading employer brand.

Our ambitious growth plans are fueled by our ability to source, attract and retain talented groomers and team members that drive operational excellence. Hiring the nation's best dog groomers and support staff is priority #1 for the company. You will be leading this incredibly high impact work

This role is ideal for someone with significant experience attracting top talent within an hourly, non-exempt workforce - ideally in a rapidly scaling startup environment. A magnetic, down-to-earth attitude coupled with relentless execution and high attention to detail is essential to thrive in this role.

You will need to pair sophisticated tactics with an encouraging, unpretentious approach to successfully capture the attention of quality candidates within this unique industry.

You'll be working with a collaborative, high quality, and fun team that solves problems with thoughtfulness, empathy, and speed. We're growing quickly and are excited to continue building an awesome and impactful team as we scale. Come join the pack Responsibilities Develop an innovative talent acquisition strategy for our grooming workforce that establishes Groombuggy as an aspirational place to work for groomers around the country. Own end-to-end recruiting processes, including managing job postings, application review, screenings, technical interview coordination through accepted offers. Consistently achieve internal hiring goals, targeting territories with the highest customer demand while maintaining a hearty pipeline in locations without active headcount goals. Create a stellar candidate experience: identify and anticipate candidate's needs; follow issues to closure; collaborate with the People Team to maximize the candidate experience. Dive into the grooming world to sourcing candidates from both traditional (Indeed, LinkedIn) and less conventional (Groomer community groups, grooming schools, etc) avenues. Maintain a close pulse on Groombuggy's operations and the groomer experience to evolve your tactics harmoniously with company priorities over time. Embody Groombuggy's values (Resilience, Company First, Safety & Respect, Positive Energy) to nurture cultural alignment with everyone you bring to the team. Partner with our growth teams to craft and maintain an arsenal of employer marketing materials to promote Groombuggy as an amazing place to work. Drive improvements to increase the quality of hires through data-driven experimentation Leverage and analyze recruitment data to effectively partner with hiring managers

Success for this role is having an expertly executed, thriving talent acquisition strategy at work while ensuring an organized, engaging recruitment process that creates a best in class candidate experience and results in many new groomers and support staff hired in accordance to our targeted hiring goals.

Requirements We're looking for someone with the following skills and characteristics:

10+ years of work experience 5+ years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition with a significant focus on recruiting a skilled hourly workforce in the United States. Demonstrated ability to build talent acquisition strategies and processes that scale with large companies of 200+ employees. Bonus if you have experience at a growth-stage, rapidly scaling company Previous sourcing experience with focus on passive and active candidate generation. The idea of setting the standard for talent acquisition in an emerging industry excites you. Experience working with Greenhouse or similar ATS. A thoughtful communicator that can tailor clear and concise communication to all levels and types of audiences, from senior leadership to entry-level groomer candidates. Ability to get new recruits across all lanes of the business excited about Groombuggy. Great internal team collaboration with a "customer service" mentality Vigorously detail oriented, masterful personal organization and powerful intrinsic motivation Endless enthusiasm - charges the batteries of those around you Total fluency in written and spoken English Strong, reliable internet connection and electricity is a must. Also required for you to have your own well-functioning computer with a good headset for phone / voice.

We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area. However this role can be done remotely anywhere. We are targeting Colorado or Utah to start and are limiting our search to candidates within a +/- one hour time difference to PST/PDT.
