Maintains accurate client files that require retention of supporting documentation. Enter client information into database. Prepare reports identifying numbers served and funding utilized based on assistance provided.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential functions. Works directly with clients to gather their information and documents necessary to complete the file. Conducts detailed eligibility assessments for rental assistance. Determines level of need and assistance amounts. Maintain accurate client records, both physical and digital. Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports. A two-year college degree, which can be substituted for three years of relevant work experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and legible handwriting. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently with speed and accuracy. Must be able to transition from one application to another based on demand for services. Previous experience interviewing and/or determining client eligibility or customer service environment will be considered. Computer experience and have a working knowledge of Word and Excel. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demand and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must occasionally lift, and/or carry/move objects up to 50 pounds.This job operates in a professional office environment.
