DPC provides primary care, urgent care, and pediatric services across 7 counties in central North Carolina, touching nearly 400,000 unique lives. Since its inception in 2016, the DPC Fellowship Program has provided fellows with a comprehensive learning opportunity that includes operational exposure to healthcare issues of importance in the network and DUHS, and interaction with executive levels of healthcare management. Work Performed DPC Fellowship Year 1: A hybrid of practice leadership exposure, ambulatory network management engagement, health system shadowing opportunities, and diverse project work. DPC Fellowship Year 2: Fellows align their professional goals and interests with DPC's strategic priorities to identify a specific area of focus for continued project work or an extended rotation.
