The Ruby Valley is an ideal location to raise a family. The local schools are one of the community's focal points and small classes facilitate engagement and communication. You'll find a strong, supportive community built on diverse talents. Some ranching families have lived in the Valley for generations. Many Ruby Valley newcomers made the decision to move after vacationing in the area for a few years. There are a wide variety of community organizations ranging from cultural and civic improvement to 4H.

Outdoor Activities

The Ruby Valley is home to four blue ribbon fishing rivers. There are also abundant opportunities for hiking, hunting, geocaching, cycling, cross-country skiing, and bird watching in the immediate area.
