Responsibilities

•Hires, trains, directs and motivates all department associates including front and back of the house and banquet facilities. Oversees scheduling of food and beverage outlets and encourages high morale amongst associates in order to reduce turnover
•Ensures that all associates are properly trained. Ensures development and adherence to company and property procedures. Oversees front of the house, back of the house and banquet activities.
•Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 evenings. Schedule is depending on the business needs. Occasional weekends.
•Implement and monitor operation schedules of food and beverage staff
•Manage all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage department including budget, menu development, staff oversight, schedule, and customer service
•Supervise current food and beverage staff to ensure high-performance standards and hire and train new staff
•Work with our culinary team to create new menus with the correct pricing structure
•Evaluate and regularly report on guest satisfaction and advise on improvements

Qualifications

•Food handling license required
•Understanding of national food and health safety regulations
•Deep knowledge of culinary trends in the industry and a strong understanding of portion and plating standards
•3+ years in food and beverage management or supervision
•Experience with hospitality customer relationship management systems preferred
