We are looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, prepares, calibrates, logs and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures. Operates Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers and other isotope sensitive equipment to obtain a visual representation or measurement of isotope concentrations in specific body areas/organs. This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola regional Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with core values. The employee shall support HCA Florida Osceola Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateGraduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine TechnologyBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredFlorida State License Nuclear Medicine requiredCertified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N)HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
