Position Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of substance abuse disorders, and a passion for helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety. You will play a crucial role in providing counseling, support, and guidance to clients as they navigate the challenges of addiction recovery. Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision to all clinical staff. Coordinates activities, client caseload, and work assignments for staff. Schedule individual supervisory conferences for staff and holds regularly scheduled staff meetings. Maintain compliance with quality assurance processes as required by OHMAS. Assists with OHMAS audits. Ensures compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security policy and procedures. Review and assess clinical staff charting. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and treatment needs. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals. Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse and addiction. Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups to promote recovery and relapse prevention. Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, document treatment interventions and outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of care. Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCDC, LICDC, LPC, LSW, LISW) certification required. Minimum of 3 years of experience providing substance abuse counseling and treatment services. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing substance abuse treatment and confidentiality requirements. Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
