OVERVIEW
Join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer
This is a hybrid role based out of our Maumee, Ohio office. The position is a salaried role and includes eligibility for overtime pay.
Design, Specify, Purchase, & Construct electrical and control systems utilizing Instrumentation, PLCs, and Drives. Working knowledge of national electrical standards, application of PLCs Design, instrumentation, and data acquisition in a manufacturing environment, and AutoCAD a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform design and engineering functions in accordance with accepted practices and company standards.
- Perform design calculations related to tasks assigned.
- Assist in gathering field data and preparing project specifications.
- Coordinate design with other members of the project team.
- Prepare electrical drawings, scopes of work, bills of material, specifications, cost estimates, and other necessary documents for small projects.
- Prepare project correspondence as required.
- Maintain positive client relationships on projects assigned.
- Five or more years of experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer or equivalent
- Possess a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university
- Possess a Fundamentals of Engineering (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Has a minimum of five years of electrical controls design and automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the food & beverage industry or Chemical industry is also a plus.
- Must be able to travel, both locally and overnight 20%-25%
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.
- This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.

We offer market-competitive compensation for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a base range of $91,000 to $128,000 annually, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Salaries are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
