What you will do:

Provide technical support to clients, distributors, and sales representatives by applying knowledge of math, chemistry, problem solving, and/or engineering.

Perform corrosion testing and other related lab testing to support internal and external objectives.

Contribute to the organization and improvement of internal product data and works collaboratively with other departments such as R&D, operations, marketing, and sales.

Customer Interactions

· Works with customers and sales team to answer technical questions and problem-solve on product applications.

· Responds promptly to customer technical inquiries via email and phone.

· Performs laboratory testing to evaluate products for customer applications.

Product Knowledge

· Gains expertise with current product lines, test procedures, and internal processes.

· Trains new sales managers, distributors, representatives, and Cortec employees on product technical details and corrosion-related topics.

· Works with Research and Development, Quality, and Production on product testing.

Technical

· Updates technical data sheets, application guides, charts, and other literature as needed.

· Creates new technical reference material to support field application of products.

· Plans, performs, and documents results of product testing according to ISO requirements.

· Follows all applicable ISO 17025, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 SOP’s and WI’s.

Secondary job accountabilities:

· Writes papers, presents papers, and attend conferences.

· Provides on-site technical support and field testing for customers and sales managers as needed.

· Give technical presentations to sales teams, distributors, and customers.

· Other related duties, as assigned.
