We are searching for a talented DevSecOps engineer to join our Space Group Software development team. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to work with a diverse team of software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to explore and develop solutions on a large, complex development project. The candidate will be expected to integrate into the existing team and fulfill the role of using DevSecOps tools to streamline the setup of development and deployment platforms. The greater team is building and deploying a next-generation Cloud-Based Command and Control (CBC2) system. We are less focused on specific Command and Control experience than finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Strong communication and organizational skills US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of Containerization experience using Docker, Podman, or similar Minimum 3 years of DevSecOps experience including build tools such as Gitlab or similar Minimum 2 years of experience identifying and mitigating Docker/Podman image CVEs (ie. Red Hat images) Desired Qualifications

Strong Linux system administration skills Security+, CISSP, Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certifications Familiarity with DoD security practices Experience setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters Fluent in Kubernetes and Helm concepts and yaml configuration Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
