Position Overview

An Entry Level Field Engineer - Data Centers focusing on power studies analyzes and optimizes electrical power systems. They support senior engineers by conducting basic system analysis, helping design power distribution systems, overseeing installations, performing maintenance tasks, collecting data, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and reliable power delivery.

Responsibilities

1. On-Site Technical Support: Collaborate with experienced field service engineers to provide on-site technical assistance for electrical systems, including installations and testing.

2. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections to guarantee the optimal performance and compliance of electrical equipment.

3. Troubleshooting: Utilize your problem-solving skills to diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.

4. Client Interaction: Engage with clients in a professional and customer-centric manner, addressing inquiries, providing technical expertise, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service activities, including service reports, client feedback, and any necessary product modifications.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and R&D, to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, Mechanical Engineering Degree, Associates Degree in Power distribution, or similar: Senior graduating no later than December 2024.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and relevant industry standards.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with team members.

Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges efficiently.

Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and a dynamic work environment.

Willingness to Travel: Availability for frequent travel to customer sites for on-site support and service tasks as needed in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota
