Job Summary

Manage inventory of files post litigation. Caseload will consist of complex coverage and PIP exposures. The PIP litigation adjuster work closely with defense counsel to develop proper analysis of defense strategy and ensures same is followed up on consistently.

Job Responsibilities
•Initial review of file post filing of lawsuit.
•Complete initial plan of action analysis and ensure execution off of same.
•Refer cases to defense counsel as warranted.
•Monitor for appropriate reserving practice.
•Manage defense counsel to ensure execution off of developed plan of action.
•Manage defense costs.
•Interpret policy language and case law in conjunction with defense and apply as appropriate.
•Attend depositions as needed.
•Attend trials as needed.
•Mentor front line and demand adjusters.

Job Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

Associates or bachelor's degree required.

Florida All Lines Adjuster license required.

Knowledge & Experience

Minimum of five years of experience handling non-standard insurance PIP claims, inclusive of front line and demand handling and a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
