Corporate Tax Manager

The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing federal and state income tax compliance, encompassing tasks such as managing federal consolidated income tax return, state separate and combined income tax returns, quarterly tax estimates, annual tax extensions, and state income tax audits. Additionally, they will serve as a strategic partner on operational and business transaction endeavors.

Responsibilities:

Supervise federal and state income tax return compliance, ensuring the punctual submission of accurate income tax returns.

Aid in federal, state, and local income tax audits.

Assist in the quarterly/annual tax provision process.

Demonstrate proficiency in navigating multi-state tax intricacies.

Conduct tax research, documenting conclusions and providing recommendations.

Support the VP Tax in enterprise-wide tax, operational, and business transaction initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred but not mandatory.

CPA strongly preferred.

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Public/Corporate Tax.

Experience with US Federal and Multi-State income tax regulations.

Ability to comprehend and apply complex tax principles to mitigate tax liabilities and risks.

Excellent research, written, and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
