**Job Summary:**

Under general supervision of a Commodity Manager, responsible for Planning and Purchasing materials to support the ZOLL production line. Making Expense Buys.

**Essential Functions:**

* Work with Oracle system and MRP for assigned items

* Generate and issue POs, managing, and maintaining metrics

* Action MRP messages to support ideal inventory levels

* Communicate with suppliers and maintaining purchase order dates and pricing

* Communicate with other departments on material status and delivery dates of shortages

* On-Time Delivery and Supplier improvements as needed.

* Maintain items and MRP fields to support ideal inventory levels and accurate MRP calculations

* Support Engineering and SQE with engineering changes and quality issues

* Provide New Product support

**Skill Requirements:**

* Good knowledge of MRP systems, Oracle preferred

* Skilled on Microsoft Office Products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* APICS Certification

**Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:**

* Bachelor's Degree

* Have at least 3 years buying/planning experience
