PURPOSE OF POSITION:
  • To ensure each of our guests are given the best possible experience in a prompt and friendly manner.
  • Assist guests with directions and answer any guest questions.
  • To ensure the highest quality of service is always given.
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 16+ years of age.
  • Prior work experience with guests.
  • Strong guest service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: at
  • Guest Service: Provide friendly and helpful service to guests. Abide by all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines established in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Safety: Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is a Safety-First Workplace; the promotion of a safe working environment and elimination of safety hazards are key functions of all positions.
  • Teamwork: Employees must work together towards the common goals of the park while maintaining a respectful and efficient work environment.
  • Cleanliness: Keep the work location and the park clean and sanitary for Guests, as well as fellow employees. Cleaning duties may require standing, stopping, and bending to pick up trash and debris and the use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Line Management: Assist management with monitoring the lines while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and safety.
  • Greeting Guests: Interact with the guests as they enter the line and answer any questions they may have.
  • Safety: Ensure all guests are following the parks code of conduct while in line.
  • Teamwork: Work collectively as part of the Haunted House team to provide a positive experience for guests and team members.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the line surrounding the house.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position is mostly outdoors.

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour
