About the role: As the Manager, Influencer & Social Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing omnichannel social-first marketing strategies that resonate with our clients. You will be at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with talent and influencers who align with our brand values, as well as managing the content calendar and ensuring our organic social channels ladder up to our marketing initiatives. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the influencer landscape, has strong communication skills, and a passion for wellness and beauty.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Influencer & Social Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with Sakara's brand identity and goals. Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers whose values align with Sakara Life's mission to drive awareness and sales. Build our holistic social strategy and roadmap that identifies the right mix of platforms, content, partners, and tactics that drive follower growth and engagement.
  • Social Marketing: Own the social calendar, navigating between quarterly concept planning and weekly calendar creation and delivery.
    • Briefing: Brief in all content needs, for graphic designer, in-house creator or outsourced to our community.
    • Organic Social Media: Execute delivery of best-in-class organic social media and influencer/creator content across channels (Focus: IG, TikTok, Substack) in alignment with marketing priorities.
    • Brand: Work closely with Creative Director & Brand Manager to proactively ideate, create, edit and implement social media campaigns to align with communication and marketing initiatives across channels.
    • KPIs: Set and analyze key performance indicators for social campaigns, measuring performance against targets for shares and likes.
    • Content Calendar: Create and manage a focused social media content calendar emphasizing key brand moments.
    • Community Management: Monitor all social media platforms to stay informed about community sentiment, trends, and discussions. Oversee the day-to-day execution of existing social channels.
    • Channel Expansion: Collaborate with the team to create an evolving strategy for Sakara's TikTok and YouTube channels.
  • Influencer Innovation: Build pipeline of potential creators to partner with across paid, gifted, affiliate and creator. Constantly bring new ideas to the table to test.
    • Partnership development: Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with influencers, thought leaders, and wellness advocates. Manage ongoing relationships with influencers and their agents.
    • Campaign management: Lead end-to-end management of influencer marketing campaigns, from ideation to execution and performance analysis. Collaborate with influencers to create authentic and engaging content that resonates with Sakara Life's target audience. Ensure that influencer content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of influencer content with overall marketing initiatives.
    • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure that all influencer partnerships align with Sakara Life's business objectives.
    • Innovation: Maintain an understanding of influencer marketing landscape, tools, new functionality and innovation with an eye for future growth.
    • Manage influencer content brief and approval process to ensure all deliverables are met, approved, and utilized in an effective manner.
    • Agency Management: Manage external agency to run multiple campaigns to drive awareness and sales across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other channels optimizing for CAC, ROAS and CPM.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of influencer marketing campaigns and provide insights for optimization. Develop regular reports on key performance indicators and campaign success.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent, influencer or community marketing, with a focus on lifestyle or wellness brands.
  • Proven track record of developing compelling influencer marketing campaigns and content
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with industry tools and platforms for influencer identification and campaign management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for health and well-being, aligned with Sakara's mission.
  • Solutions oriented with an active sense of urgency
  • Mastery of priority social, commerce and measurement platforms/tools, including Dash Hudson, Tribe, Google Analytics, and Shopify.

This full-time role is based at our NYC Headquarters in Soho. We currently operate under a hybrid model where you will be required to work in person 3 days during the week.

The compensation salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
