IT Operations Manager

Tarrytown Expocare (a rapidly growing national pharmacy servicing the IDD community) is looking for an energetic IT leader to oversee day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure management. This person will guide a small, developing technical team along with several vendor partners responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting our enterprise IT infrastructure. This includes the data centers, Microsoft 365, Meraki networks, Windows servers, Ring Central VoIP, Citrix VDI environment, and windows desktop endpoints. This is a unique opportunity for a bright and talented professional to join a rapidly growing company with a great and noble cause.This person should have strong project management and communication skills. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, and data driven technical leader. ITIL discipline and experience is a significant plus.This leader will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify system capacity, availability, and recoverability requirements in order to recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective architectures for the management of critical enterprise data. He/she will ensure high levels of data quality and application availability while containing costs. This individual will also evaluate new projects and applications to determine the infrastructure necessary to support them.RequirementsEssential Responsibilities: Leading a small team and helping determine growth needsCoach and develop associates within purviewManage multiple vendors, monitor invoicing, contracts, and SLAsMaintain IT Operations operating and capital budgetCoordinate and insure IT service maintenance while balancing system availabilityIncident management (research, identify, track, and communicate incidents and problems within purview)Establish and maintain proactive system and enterprise network monitoringIdentify key reports providing metrics for IT services (system availability, incident management, problem management)Establish appropriate SLAs and metrics to measure and report regularlyEnforce ITIL discipline within the group, department, and organization with special focus on Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Planning, Knowledge Management, and CMDBWork with vendors to determine "out-of-box" solutions where appropriateDevelop, test, and maintain a proven disaster recovery/business continuity planning solutionWork closely with Information Security expert(s) to insure security of enterpriseOrganize and prioritize assigned tasks within department to meet established schedules, timeliness, and/or deadlinesWork independently with minimal supervisionAny and all other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Senior ManagementRequirements: 5+ years of relevant management experience and/or college or advanced degree in IT/MISStrong technical proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologiesStrong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office 365Proven tenure working to provide critical IT servicesITIL knowledge and experience a major plusProven project management experienceKnowledge and understanding of information securityProficient in English (read, write, and verbal communication)Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, sponsorship not availableExperience and technical understanding of the following:Data networkingCloud ServicesMicrosoft WindowsMicrosoft 365 Tenant ManagementMicrosoft 365 Products (Email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)Endpoint managementData center operationsVoIP/UCaaS solutionsVirtual Desktop solutionsInformation securityNetworking, including WiFi and SD-WANVPNExperience with specific technical tools, a significant plus, including:Microsoft 365 (Email, Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams, etc.)Microsoft Active Directory (including GPO)Cisco MerakiRingCentral (UCaaS solution)Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) - Citrix
