JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for installation of commercial duct systems following customer specifications and applicable building code.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports construction projects by fabricating and installing sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems, including necessary fittings and transitions.
  • Installs duct hangers and supports as directed by the foreman to ensure proper alignment and stability.
  • Assists in the construction process by sealing duct joints and connections to ensure airtight systems.
  • Provides support by installing ductwork for cooling systems and assisting in the integration of new HVAC systems or the remodeling of existing systems.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience of installing commercial duct systems
  • 2+ years overseeing or running a crew(s)High school diploma or GED equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Some travel required
