MAJOR FUNCTION:

Perform various duties in processing mortgage loans and preparing mortgage loan documents. Assist and work as a team with all members of Real Estate Dept., and other departments of the Bank as needed.

RESPONSIBILITES: Please note this is an on-site position.

1. Prepare or review mortgage loan documentation as applicable, necessary to originate and close loans.

2. Prepare appraisal requests, title orders, verifications of employment and assets, credit reports as needed, and flood certifications. Verify employment, deposits; obtain payoffs, and any other documentation necessary under Loan Officer's direction.

3. Assemble processing and closing files.

4. Analyze income, asset and credit and appraisal documentation to ensure compliance with ASBT loan policy, Federal regulation and secondary market requirements, as applicable.

5. Prepare loan submissions to Home Point Financial and North Dakota Housing Finance Agency under Loan Officer's direction.

6. Assist in the preparation of closing statements and help manage process under direction of Loan Officers.

7. Assist Real Estate Officers with customers' signing of loan documents.

8. Electronically enter new loans and computer changes into data base.

9. Post mortgage payments received, monitor/distribute past due reports, assist our customers with servicing questions and issues.

10. Assist in payment of Real Estate Taxes due on all escrow accounts in December and February.

11. Assist in payment of Homeowners Insurance due on all escrow accounts and monitor all insurance on escrow accounts monthly.

12. Responsible for escrow analysis process for all escrowed loans annually.

13. Prepare Release of Mortgage on all real estate loans paid in full and close files and other loan servicing duties as needed.

14. Prepare lien waivers and assist with disbursement of construction loans.

15. Track and log post-closing loan documents and follow up on insurance binders.

16. Prepare loan extensions, loan modifications and other documents necessary

17. Staff is required to be flexible with their weekly hours due to workflow and other unique situations that may arise.

18. Complete all initial and annual training requirements as outlined by ASBT.

19. Perform all other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives and responsibilities of the Lending function.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 1-2 years' experience in real estate secondary market programs and operating systems.

2. Good secretarial/computer skills along with good communication skills.

3. Most duties require employee to be at a seated desk position with availability to a computer terminal. Employee will need to be mobile and flexible to access files and records from various loan areas and the loan vault area.

4. Flexibility with schedules and work hours may be necessary to participate as a team worker with the Real Estate and other Loan Divisions.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Confidentiality and tactfulness in dealing with bank and customer information is mandatory.

2. Ability to conduct relationships with co-workers, customers, the community and the overall public in a manner which will enhance the bank's image and comprehensive marketing effort.

3. Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and projects.
