GEICO's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team is looking for a highly motivated Salesforce Performance Engineer to join the team to help develop and support Marketing, Sales, and Financial Service Cloud applications in a fast paced and high energy Agile development environment. As a Salesforce Performance engineer, you will work in a highly collaborative environment interfacing with Salesforce developers, Scrum masters and Architects to help test and deliver critical Salesforce solutions for GEICO. Specifically, drive CRM automation framework and tool development in support of CRM Workstream testing strategy as well as create, maintain, execute automated testing solutions.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of strong performance testing experience
  • Should have good experience into performance test frameworks design and development
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design
  • Should be able to handle work with deployments teams and resolve any level issues for the system.
  • In addition to EPT, use browser developer tools to test network throttling, and use automation tools such as Selenium to test page flow performance.
  • Write persona-based load generation scripts using tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter is a must.
  • Experience with Identity Governance / Identity Management tools.
  • Agile Scrum based experience
  • Experience working on SOASTA Digital Performance Management platform
  • Experience with workload models, analytics, server side and client side performance metrics measures and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of test process: requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders for testing services
  • Atlassian tools knowledge - JIRA, Confluence
  • Strong with communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience working with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipeline
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in any testing tools and methodologies
  • BS/ MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Responsibilities:
  • The Professional-System Engineer (Salesforce) position is responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for the Salesforce application
  • Using testing techniques, design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies, write, and execute test cases, and troubleshoot defects for applications
  • Determine integrated testing solutions that include cross dependencies between organizations and programs, develop data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs
  • Responsibilities may include IST/UAT, E2E testing which encompasses the entire Salesforce customer experience testing
  • This position is required to provide software engineering services which includes quality control, and production support testing, and liaison to the key stakeholders
  • This is a technical position providing solutions for one or more software engineering disciplines and works closely with development, product management, project management, adopt the right technologies and platforms to meet the overall technology vision, roadmap and strategy established by Technology Development
  • Adopts consistent standards, tools, and best practices across the team with the overall goal of improving application reliability
  • Support the development of creative options and alternate testing/release strategies for meeting aggressive goals in terms of time to market in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Develops, Implements, and Manages process to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
  • Partners with CRM developers & Architects for Intake Release planning & Assignment
  • Manages risks and issue resolution to drive efficient and quality results. Monitoring Test Design & Execution.
  • Deliver regular reports that provide qualitative and quantitative descriptions of business performance
  • Understand Automation Script/Framework and Execute Automation Scripts based on Test planning
  • Develop and maintain Automation Test cases with the help of Automation/Test Architect
  • Support team members, and help streamline work processes to improve efficiency and consistency
